The Mac mini received an update in March 2020, doubling the amount of storage on each of the two standard configurations. The Mac mini is otherwise better compared to the models released in October 2018, featuring 4- and 6-core 8th-Generation Intel Core processors, four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, support for up to 64GB RAM, and all SSD configurations with up to 2TB of storage available. It also includes Apple's T2 chip for added security.
